There is a big difference between hot chocolate and drinking chocolate. You can find a complete drinking chocolate information sheet and drinking chocolate recipes at http://www.drinkingchocolates.com. The main difference is using the cacoa part of the bean vs. the cocoa powder. You are getting the good part including the cocoa butter, which you can really tell because when heated repeatedly, you'll see the cocoa butter rise to the top. Anyways, if served right, there is an Italian Style Drinking Chocolate at drinkingchocolates.com that is delicious - better than any cocoa mix I've ever had at least.

Moonray Espresso is now out of business; it's been over a year since the lawsuit and the store is still vacant. It's so sad... I guess the drive-thru Starbucks down the street has taken over.

Moonstruck chocolates, I discovered recently, are being sold at the Redmond Town Center. Looked pretty good, but i wouldn't touch them... not even if they offered free samples (which they didn't).

We're in the Snoqualmie Valley --- Snoqualmie means "moon" or "people of the moon" --- but a cafe or espresso stand here isn't allowed to have the word "moon" in its name? How crazy are people these days? We can't even share the moon.

This HC hot cocoa sounds good i suppose... But you haven't tasted the best hot chocolate till you've tried my recipe!!!
I get some NESQUIK choclate drinking powder, chocolate icecream, choclate topping, and milk, and shove it in a milkshake maker(blender-thingy) for ages until it's really frothy/lots bubbles on top...then i pour it into a mug, then pop it in the microwave for about 1 and half minutes... and it is soooooooo good!!! And very chocolatey! It even turns the bubbles into like capucino froth...but not coffee flavor- choc!!!
The best part is, you can have it hot or cold...depends on if you put it in the microwave or not.
OH! and yes, incase you were wondering, I am definately a chocoholic!!!

It sounds like a great product. I think I will change from coffee to your cocoa. When i want to relax on a cold New England day, I like to trat myself to a great cup of Tuccelli Hot Cocoa Mix. It is the best cocoa that I've ever tasted. So I guess its HC in the day and Tuccelli at night.

What about that lawsuit that Moonstruck is filing against Moonray Espresso, a small business in Duvall, Wa.(a small former logging town in the foothills 40 miles from Seattle) over a not so similar logo, other than the moon? Another case of Corporate America squashing small business entreprenuership.
